Two British tourists on Thursday wrote a letter to express their gratitude to local police in Da Nang for helping them find their lost iPhone 11.
The tourists filed a report to the police in Cam Le District on Tuesday, saying they had lost an iPhone 11 and that they thought they may have left it in a Grabcar after taking a ride from Hoi An to Da Nang.
Based on camera surveillance, police found the Grabcar driver and retrieved their lost iPhone.
On Thursday, a Vietnamese American man also thanked Da Nang police for assisting him in finding his lost wallet containing VND6 million ($256) in cash.
Da Nang, famous for its long, sandy beaches, received 483,000 foreign tourists last year, up 4.6 times from 2021.
