Duong Nghi Diep paid VND450 million (US$18,160) for a 7monthold Maine Coon cat named Zenit imported from a well-known Polish cat farm.

“Zenit has one of the rarest fur colors in Vietnam and the world. I had to buy two plane tickets for her and the seller when I brought her from Poland to Vietnam. I took her to the park, the playground and other crowded locations once a week so she could get used to the environment and the commotion before the competition,” Diep said.

Diep feeds her cat two meals a day, typically ground quail or beef, or sliced chicken. She also gives her cats snacks like pate and different supplements like fish oil or calcium.
